The rich brass surface has developed a natural patina over time, enhancing the depth and character of the intricate motifs. Designed with integrated rests along the rim, it balances functionality with a sculptural presence, making it equally suited for use or display. Its timeless form reflects the era’s appreciation for decorative elegance, where everyday objects were elevated into statement pieces. Fun Historical Fact During the 1960s, ashtrays became a central element of home décor, often designed to complement the growing popularity of Hollywood Regency interiors. Brass pieces like this were especially favored for their ability to convey warmth, luxury, and a sense of sophistication in both formal and casual settings. As smoking culture was widely integrated into social gatherings, ashtrays evolved into decorative objects that reflected personal style as much as function.
