I am forced to part with my amazing 5.0 audiophile home theater speakers designed, engineered, and built by Dave Fabrikant of Ascend Acoustics in Southern California . Upon reading through this description, you will quickly learn why these speakers are RARELY offered up for sale. As you can see, the Sierra-1s are in Piano Black finish and have been well cared for and the CBM-170s are in MDF. Included is EVERYTHING original: the boxes with custom fit foam packaging, the manuals, the original production line response measurements. I am also including ~100ft of high quality 14AWG speaker wire with banana plugs, as well as a pair of Ultralink MTP-12 8ft premium banana plug cables. I am including the stands for the L and R Sierra-1s as well as the surround stands for the CBM-170s. These stands are sold by Ascend Acoustics, are high quality and sand-filled to ensure these beauties don’t tip over if bumped. In terms of overall condition, I would conservatively rate these at 8.5-9/10; there is some minor superficial scratches along the bottom edge of one speaker that should be no issue to buffer out, and 2 of the screw holes are nicked on the metal bracing surrounding one of the woofers on one of the speakers, barely noticeable and a non-issue with the grill covers. (I will include pics of these minor blemishes). Performance-wise, they are flawless. You can buy this set from Ascend Acoustics for just over $1500 (not including tax, $120 flat rate shipping, or the surround speaker pole stands, which were $100-$150 if I remember correctly).
