Description

Reba McEntire on the cover of her self-titled 1988 studio album, Reba, released by MCA Records. A fantastic listening copy. As seen on Side Two, the visible hairline scratches and light surface scuffs. The vinyl record itself appears to be in Very Good (VG) to Very Good Plus (VG+) visual condition, showing a healthy gloss alongside typical light, superficial paper scuffs or hairlines from use. The custom center label confirms this is the original 1988 US retail pressing issued by MCA Records under the catalog number MCA-42134. Side Two of the record shows slightly more noticeable wear than Side One, placing its visual condition at a solid Very Good (VG). The vinyl retains a good amount of its original gloss, but there are a few visible superficial imperfections: • Light Scuffs: There are faint paper scuffs across the playing surface, likely from the record being pulled in and out of its inner sleeve over the years. • Hairline Scratches: A couple of distinct, thin hairline scratches are visible near the outer edge (especially noticeable in the second image). These are typically shallow and usually cause minor background crackle or ticks rather than loud pops or skipping, though a play-test is the only way to know for sure. The center label looks very clean with no tearing, handwriting, or significant spindle marks around the center hole. Overall, it remains a highly playable, decent vintage copy!
