1996 Ford F-250

Price Reduced! Up for sale is my 1996 Ford F-250 4x4 Double Cab with a 460 cubic inch engine (7.54 Liters) with block heater, dual fuel tanks, a 6.5' bed. This truck has 200,300 miles on it. I've had/driven this truck more than 4 years (put 11k miles on it) but just registered it/titled it in February 2026 due to ongoing problems with the paperwork from previous owners that took a long time to resolve. Truck passed DEQ in September 2025. License plate tags expire in 2027. Clean Oregon title in my name with no brands. I Love this truck but I am selling it because I replaced it with a F-250 with a 7.3 powerstroke diesel in order to pull a 14k dump trailer that I recently purchased. (This truck is rated to pull 10k). This truck has been maintained during my ownership by a professional mechanic. In the last couple years we have repaired and replaced any mechanical issues we have found. We replaced the power steering pump, catalytic converter, a front wheel hub, some vacuum lines, the fuel filter, the entire distributor assembly, battery cable ends, the shift tube and shift lever, and of course, oil and filter changes. I believe the transmission was last rebuilt in 2016 but I don't know how many miles it had on it at the time. This engine runs very smoothly and sounds great! The interior is in beautiful shape considering the age with the exception of a small wear area on the driver's side of the front bench seat (pictured), a spot on top of the dash where the color came off when I removed my mobile phone holder, the ash tray is loose (may be fixable but never tried), and the headliner is sagging. Other issues to note are that the horn and cruise control were disconnected by a previous owner and a push button for the horn was added to the top of the steering column. This may be fixable as the wiring that goes to the horn and the cruise control through the steering wheel is still intact but disconnected. My guess is that the cruise controller went out and they just wanted a quick fix. Same goes with the air conditioning, it was bypassed (compressor pulled and proper pulley added to the block) and that was the next thing on my list to get redone. Also, please note that the towing control module in the cab (pictured) is not currently mounted but I will be remounting it in the next day or two. As you can see in the photos, the truck has some dents, scratches and peeling paint. The front passenger side tire has uneven wear and the auxiliary reverse lights need new bulbs. The tailgate is missing but I still have the 5th wheel style tailgate that came with a truck as well as a 5th wheel hitch if you want it. Also, I have a ladder rack that fits this truck and is designed to go around a bed canopy if that's something you're interested in; otherwise I will list it separately.
