Description

1930's Black Stromberg Carlson zinc metal telephone. Art Deco Style base. Black, heavy (weighs 10 lbs), has 2' cloth cord. You can cut it off or maybe you're a "bell head" splicer or collector and know what you're looking at in the photos. Model 1248 W I. The crank is hard to turn but it does turn and bell rings. Bakelite handset. This is a lobby phone so no rotary dial or numbers. Could be used as a movie prop, museum display or as door stop. The paint is starting to come off. It looks like there is sticker residue on face of the phone, I didn't try to remove it. Please look at photos closely. Selling "As-Is". Untested. Non smoking home.
