Description

Authentic antique composition baby doll dating to approximately 1930. This doll belonged to my father when he was a baby and has been in the family for generations. Features a composition head and limbs, molded painted hair and blue eyes. Includes the vintage dress and bonnet shown in the photos. The original internal stringing mechanism has deteriorated with age, so the arms and legs are currently detached, but all parts are present and the doll could be restrung/restored by a collector. There is age-related paint loss, crazing and wear consistent with a doll that’s nearly 100 years old. I have not found a manufacturer’s mark, so maker is unknown. Selling as-is for restoration or display. $75 OBO Local pickup.
