I didn’t write my review of my sweet little pistachio colored Fiat right away, but since I just paid my six month car insurance, I can still say that I bought a great car! Unbelievably low mileage for a 13 year old car, well maintained, manual transmission (so hard to find), almost 40 mpg driving primarily in the city, fun to drive and beautiful.  In almost every parking lot someone tells me how “pretty” my car is.

Here was my experience: found the car I wanted, reviewed the CarFax that was uploaded, called to say I wanted a test drive (and was told it was manual transmission as a reminder to the listing so no one would waste their time)  and drove down from Baltimore.  Had my drive, signed the paperwork and paid a deposit.  Because 1st Choice guarantees all inspections within the DMV region, it needed MD inspection. About a week later, when everything was complete and I had free day, I went back down to finish my payment with a cashiers check and drove my sweet little Italian pistachio Fiat home.

I had to take the MARC train, then the Metro from Union Station to the Vienna stop because it seemed too far to ask a friend to drive me.  Once at the Metro, I texted Edwin to come pick me up. Every single one of the guys I dealt with was friendly and professional.  Eddie, Edwin and Junior—I can’t speak highly enough of them.  Go buy your next car from this independent shop! You won’t be sorry.

Had a great experience purchasing a car from 1st Choice - pricing is fair and the sales process is straight forward. Shout out to Jr. and the gang for making it a breeze for us to get our teen a quality used car at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Just recently purchased a 2015 Q40 from this dealership and it was an easy, no hazzle, quality experience. The car I wanted was a decent price with no accidents and a free CARFAX. Since they don't do financing in-house, they'll recommend PentFed Credit Union for financing which it only 20 minutes away in Tysons. Both Eddie and Junior answered all my question in a timely, professional matter. They also have some of the lowest dealer processing fees compared to the rest of Northern VA. They was also able to do a Maryland State Inspection Free of charge. I'll will definitely recommend them if you want to buy a used car in Northern VA in the DC metro area.

Things usually go awry when the warranty is up (or close to being up) hence why I waited to write this review but so far, so good.

I’ll start with the buying process. I am a woman who came in to buy a Chevy Equinox, or something similar. My parents initially went to check it out on my behalf while I was out of town, but I was eventually able to come by and browse the inventory for myself. THEY ARE NOT YOUR TYPICAL CAR SALESMEN!!!! I was able to browse in peace without their lovely staff breathing down my neck or convincing me to take anything off the lot for sake of a sale. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about their stock and answered any questions/concerns that I had. The purchase itself was smooth, I paid via cashiers check (they do not finance) and they took care of the DMV portion for me. Even after purchasing the vehicle I had a few concerns, I.e. rust and a spare key, and they were able to handle that for me.

The car itself is pretty solid. I’ve had the transmission flushed as a precaution since that was not listed on the car fax and she got her 1st oil change last Friday because she needed one. After 3 months of owning this vehicle, I did have a minor issue 7/12/2025 with the car not getting enough power to get to speed and uphill but that was more of a connection issue, nothing to do with 1st choice. My mechanic cleaned off the wires and connections and it’s running just as well as it did when I drove it off the lot but I plan to stop by before my warranty is up to get a code scan for peace of mind.

Thank you Abdul, Junior, Manager and the 2 other lovely associates (I didn’t get their names) that helped me for making this an exceptional car buying experience and I look forward to purchasing something else in the future!

Oh, and I ended up getting a 2017 Infiniti qx50 lol

Amazing and professional dealership! Back in September, we called ahead to confirm an appointment with a 2018 Toyota Corolla LE and Abdul-Karim was already ready to hand us the keys upon arrival. Car matched the pictures to the dot and drove very nice. Only issue was that the left mirror motor did not function the best, but we escalated to one of the sales members, J.R., and he was able to have it fixed for us the day after! He was very professional with the paperwork and made sure we understood our rights and responsibilities. We reached an agreement with paperwork and OTD price, having us pick up the car the next day after viewing it. He even washed the exterior and detailed the interior! Smooth and fairly quick process, leaving us satisfied. While 1st Choice Auto Sales wasn't my first choice when looking for dealerships, I definitely recommend it to be your first choice.
