Vintage Esterbrook J Pen Dubonnet Red 9550 Nib RESTORATION - Includes Sac Tray Up for sale is a classic vintage Esterbrook J-series lever-fill fountain pen in the beautiful Dubonnet Redfinish. This pen is disassembled as pictured and is sold strictly as-is for restoration or parts. Condition & Included Components: * 9550 Nib Unit: Premium Master Series Firm Extra Fine (Posting) nib. Tipping material is intact and the unit unscrews cleanly from the section. * Cap & Body: The outer celluloid is in good cosmetic condition with typical light micro-scratching from age. No major cracks or deep gouges. The clip and trim remain secure. * Original Factory Sac Tray: Includes the original, hard-to-find transparent inner plastic sac cradle/protector that sits inside the barrel opposite the lever. Restoration Needed: To bring this classic American writing instrument back to working order, it will require standard vintage servicing: * Replacement J-bar (internal lever mechanism spring) * Replacement ink sac (size #16 is standard) This is an excellent, complete project lot for a vintage pen enthusiast or a fantastic source for a premium 9550 Master Series nib.
