2002 Lexus LS 430

• ⁠Arizona/California car - rust proofed with lanolin when I moved up to Michigan one year ago, I’m very pleased with how that has held up, and the car reflects it as it’s my daily. PROS In the 1-1/2 years I’ve owned it, all maintenance is logged with Lexus. I’ve done and replaced most all concerning things timing belt, water pump, tensioner and pulley kit (Aisin) completed at 154,517 miles • ⁠radiator (denso) and hoses • ⁠lower oil pan (previous oil changes had stripped the threads) • ⁠valve cover gaskets • ⁠power steering flush and hose replacement, tightened seeping hoses • ⁠diff service • ⁠front brakes are brand new • ⁠brakes flushed last year • ⁠front suspension upper control arms • ⁠inner and outer tie rods • ⁠stabilizer links • ⁠the folding mirrors work! • ⁠all leaks addressed CONS • ⁠the car was painted long before I bought it. VIN - JTHBN30F(contact info removed)47 What I believe happened is an owner wrapped it. When the wrap was pulled they pulled clear coat and decided to paint it white. • ⁠minor bumper damage passenger side rear quarter. Pictures included. The bumper would need to be repainted and the tail light replaced. It never bothered me and doesn’t affect its overall value all that much. • ⁠the all too common rear tail lamp indicator when headlights are activated • ⁠minor seat tear on driver side seat. Fixable, manageable. • ⁠door locks are intermittent, never bothered to fully replace them with new. Attempted fixing them a couple times. • ⁠other typical old Lexus things that could be fixed but just not worth it like old and dry rubber bushings, the original serpentine belt tensioner is a little squeaky when cold Additional: its needs two rear tires. I’m gonna do them this week but figured I would mention it in case someone is hot to jump on it. I would knock off 200$ right then and there. There is still plenty of tread on them as they are Perks: • ⁠it’s tinted and that’s in good shape • ⁠it has a subwoofer, functional and great • ⁠has a dash cam - leaving it in The car has been amazing and lived up to its name. I’m only selling because I’ve upgraded and do not want this to be my winter car. I’m happy to answer any additional questions.
