vintage Jacobean Revival oak armchair featuring a distinctive barley twist design, turned wood details and woven cane construction. Beautiful dark oak finish with a decorative cane back and classic carved wood details. A great statement piece for an antique, vintage, traditional or eclectic interior. The chair measures approximately 40 inches tall, 24 inches wide at the widest point and just over 20 inches deep. The seat is approximately 17 inches high, 23 inches wide at the front and 18.5 inches wide at the rear, with a 15.5 inch seat depth. The arms are approximately 25.5 inches high. Condition is being sold as shown. The woven cane back is in excellent condition. The cane seat has significant damage and will need to be recaned before regular use. There are also various areas of age related wear including finish loss, small chips, cracks and wood damage. One area has a previous repair using a modern screw.
