Description

That's a Mechatronics UF12A12 BWH - 120mm AC tubeaxial fan. Your label matches the H = High speed version in the UF12A series. The modern ordering number is UF12A12-BWHR [the R just means wire leads with the older BWH]. What you have • Size: 120 x 120 x 38mm / 4.69" x 4.69" x 1.5" - standard 120mm case fan • Frame: Die-cast aluminum, Impeller: PBT plastic • Bearing: Ball bearing - 50,000 hrs @ 25C rated life • Voltage: 115VAC, single-phase, 50/60Hz - Shaded pole motor with impedance protection • Wires: 2-wire leads, no polarity on AC, just line / neutral From your tag and the factory spec sheet: UF12A12-H : 50Hz: 14W, 0.20A, 2,700 RPM, 92 CFM (2.61 m³/min), 8.13 mm H2O 60Hz: 12W, 0.16A, 3,100 RPM, 106 CFM (3.00 m³/min), 8.13 mm H2O, 46 dBA So on US 60Hz power it runs at ∼3100 RPM, ∼106 CFM, 0.35 in H2O. Airflow direction is "air exhaust over struts" - meaning air blows toward the side with the struts / label you are looking at in the photo. The strut side is the exhaust. Wiring / Use 1. Black wires are interchangeable - connect one to hot, one to neutral. Ground the chassis via the mounting screws if used in metal enclosure. 2. It's impedance protected, so it won't burn out if locked, but no thermal fuse. 3. Common uses: amplifier racks, arcade cabinets, networking enclosures, vending, old computer equipment, fume extraction. If you need a replacement, any 120mm 115VAC fan with ball bearing will fit. Direct drop-in: Mechatronics UF12A12-BWHR - $20.69 at DigiKey, in stock, UL / cUL / TUV / CE approved. Want me to find a quieter version or a 12V DC conversion option?
