I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited from PDX Motors, and overall I had a really positive experience.

I knew exactly what model I was looking for, and if everything checked out, I was ready to buy. A few friends who had previously worked with Matt recommended I go through him, so I made an appointment. He was very friendly, easy to work with, and never pushy, which I really appreciated.

He let me take the vehicle on a solo test drive, which gave me plenty of time to really check everything out. During the drive, I tested every button and feature I could think of, and everything seemed great. The only issue I noticed at the time was some minor damage to the driver-side door panel—small puncture holes and some warping that looked like wear from someone resting their elbow there. The dealership agreed to replace that if I purchased the vehicle, which I appreciated.

About a week later, I took the Highlander through a car wash and noticed a significant amount of water spraying into the back passenger area. When I got home, I climbed up to inspect the roof and found that the panoramic sunroof strip was badly torn up. Honestly, it wasn’t something I thought to check during the test drive since it was pouring rain that day and there were no obvious signs of leaking.

Even though I didn’t purchase a warranty through the dealership, I was really disappointed that this issue hadn’t been caught or mentioned before the sale. I took it to a friend’s shop, and they quoted me nearly $1,000 for parts, labor, and tax to repair it.

I reached out to Matt to let him know what happened, and he apologized and said he had no prior knowledge of the issue. He immediately had one of their mechanics reach out to get me scheduled. They got me in within a day, inspected it, and replaced the entire strip for me. And even took it through the car wash to be sure there was no more leaks.

Everyone I spoke with at the dealership was kind, respectful, and professional. They had the repair completed within about an hour of me dropping it off, and I was genuinely grateful they stood behind it and took care of the issue.

Because of how they handled everything, I would absolutely recommend Matt and PDX Motors to anyone looking to finance a vehicle.

I had an outstanding car buying experience at PDX motors with my dealer Art. After a frustrating visit to Ron Tonkin, where they actually tried to sell me a truck with the check engine light on, I was pretty discouraged about the whole process.

Thankfully, I found Art. He was honest, professional, and never made me feel pressured. He even gave me the keys and allowed me and my family to test drive it by ourselves, with the only stipulation of not hitting a 100 mph. He took the time to answer my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. In the end, I drove away in a beautiful Toyota Tundra at a fair and reasonable price.

Alex the sales manager was awesome to work with! Being pre approved with a local bank made it a brease, was in and out in 2 hours including test driving 2 different golf alltracks and viewing one other. Working with me on the price of a specific car they hadn't even listed was great! Top notch if you have a specific car in mind and worth my time not shopping around probably worth your's as well!! So happy they had they had what I was looking for!
