vintage Van Norman Machine Tool Co. Model X Valve Refacer from Springfield, MASS. This is a heavy-duty, cast-iron precision machine tool historically used for re-grinding engine valves during cylinder head rebuilds. Includes the original manufacturer’s identification brass plate (Serial No. 9724).Includes the adjustable tracking base, valve chuck assembly, and grinding stone.Driven by an external electric motor via a V-belt setup. Condition: Selling strictly AS-IS and untested. It has a beautiful vintage look with original red/black paint showing through the patina.
