Walden by Henry David Thoreau (Peter Pauper Press) (Illustrated Edition) (1940s). Although this book does not have an exact copywrite date as such, based on the inscriptions from the previous owner on the first blank page and my research online, this edition more than likely dates to the early to mid 1940s. The book is in absolutely gorgeous, near fine condition in original slipcover. Truly stunning for a volume this old, aside from the inscriptions on the first blank page and the smallest amount of dog earing to two or three (consecutive pages, see last photo), this volume is truly in near perfect condition. A superb, vintage example of this classic book Asking just $50 or best offer. Thanks!
