A extremely clean, very nice condition and tested for several hours, vintage (1984ish) Hitachi Stereo Two Channel receiver with A and B speaker capability (both work), slides for volume, bass, treble and balance, loudness and subsonic filter (off/on), 8 programmable AM or FM presets, quartz digital synthesizer tuning system, comprehensive graphic display, functioning power meter, rated 8-16 ohm speakers, 70 watts (35w per channel), head/earphone input for private listening, and much more. Top of the cabinet does show some wear but in no way impacts the great sound this receiver provides. Through the cooling vents on top you are able to see the circuit boards inside, they look like new. It is not remote capable (rarely available at that time). This is a very rare find . Also it’s stealth black (most of these units that are still available (not functional) seem to be silver. Demonstration available and welcomed. Dimensions: 4.25” x 17.25” x 11”.
