Description

This is a MULTI MEDIA, MOSAIC, Art Painting of Prince, The Legend, In Purple Rain. I first rolled out slabs of clay to portray Prince’s image. I used a picture canvas of his face. I then sculpted his bodice and revolutionary, ruffled shirt from stoneware porcelain clay and painted it appropriately. The background is to represent, purple rain. I adhered the background surface with silver, foiled sheets to give it texture and then spray painted over it with purple paint. Thus, THE LEGEND WAS RE-BORN!
