Vintage Sears Free Spirit (Puch E50) Moped Project – $500 Firm

Selling a vintage Sears Free Spirit moped built by Puch. It features the legendary E50 motor and clean snowflake wheels. It has potential to look cleaner- when I first got it I did wipe it all down, clean the chrome it’s just been sitting under a tarp for a year or so out in the backyard. * Condition: Engine is free, has good compression, and is not stuck. It fired right up on starting fluid a couple of years ago. Setup: Previous owner had a pit bike throttle setup and an aux tank installed (I removed the aux tank). What I know it’ll need: left brake lever, throttle tube, new cable set at the bare minimum if I were to put this back on the road. The Story: Bought this as a plan to start a chopper moped project, but life happened (had a baby a year ago) and it's just been sitting. Needs tinkering by someone who knows vintage puchs Pick up locally. Grab it as a complete project before I decide to part it out! If you do want it in parts- Complete E50 Motor – $300: Includes motor, carb, intake, points/stator, and flywheel. Has solid compression, not stuck, started a couple of years ago on starting fluid. Good spare motor for you to build or swap out for one that’s trashed. Puch Snowflake Wheels – $250: Includes front and rear snowflake alloy wheels with tires and complete brake plates.
