Vintage McDowell & Craig Metal Tanker Desk – Mid Century Modern / Industrial

Selling a classic, heavy-duty McDowell & Craig double-pedestal steel tanker desk. McDowell & Craig is legendary for making rock-solid, high-quality industrial office furniture built to last a lifetime. Perfect piece for a rugged home office setup or a vintage furniture restoration project. Details & Condition: • Brand: Genuine McDowell & Craig • Style: Mid-Century Modern / Industrial / Retro • Top Surface: Very clean, smooth top laminate with minimal wear. • Drawers: Lots of storage space. The locking middle drawer is intact. • Flaws (Priced Accordingly): There are a few typical cosmetic rust spots on the outer drawer corners. One drawer track has some surface rust and needs a little TLC/lubricant to glide perfectly smoothly. The left-side slide-out extension tray is missing (common for its age). Overall, it’s structurally incredible and ready to use as-is, or it makes an amazing candidate to strip down and polish to bare steel! Dimensions: Standard large tanker dimensions (approx. 60" W x 30" D). Important Pickup Info: This is solid, old-school American steel and is EXTREMELY heavy. You will need a truck, van, or trailer, plus at least two strong people to lift and load it. Cash or Venmo upon local pickup only. No delivery.
