Vintage Italian Rosary with Mother-of-Pearl Beads and Hammered Silver Crucifix

This vintage Catholic Dominican Rosary features iridescent white mother-of-pearl or milk glass oval beads connected with silver-tone chain links.The centerpiece medallion is an oxidized silver-tone medal featuring a high-relief depiction of the Madonna and Child (The Virgin Mary embracing the infant Jesus).The crucifix features a unique minimalist design without a corpus (the body of Jesus). The front of the cross features a scalloped, hammered dimple texture. The upper beam is vertically stamped with the Latin acronym "INRI" (Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum / Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews). The flat reverse side of the cross is horizontally stamped with "ITALY" near the bottom edge, confirming its geographic manufacturing origin. Condition: Vintage / Good Material: Silver-plated or oxidized base metal, mother-of-pearl/glass beads Origin: Made in Italy. This beautiful rosary also comes with one additional bonus. Its perfect condition is due to it only recently being taken out of its original packaging due to an issue that occured that destroyed the packaging material and then severely threatened this Rosary promoting those in charge to be forced to decide whether to risk leaving it inside the damaged packaging or remove it and put it at risk of damage ** Please note.
