We came in on a Friday evening, right before they were closing. Donny, a salesman welcomed us and started to help with what we were looking for. He wasn’t pushy at all. He was very open to looking at different options. We came back in Saturday afternoon and got what we were looking for. Dustin from the finance department was very laid back and helped us with the process. I am glad we came to Southern DJR Norfolk.

I have been having my truck at Southern Dodge serviced for 10 years after my purchase from them. Never a problem before.
I recently scheduled an appointment one week ahead to make sure that there wouldn’t be any delays. This is a company vehicle and well needed. I brought the truck in on Thursday 10:00 as scheduled.  I immediately was told they didn’t have any service techs, but they would get to it soon.
On Friday I contacted and was told to text only for updates, so I did.  4 hours later I received a text that they still were trying to fine a free technician. By 3:00 I sent another text just trying to fine out if they got to me yet. Did not receive a text so I got a ride back into the dealership. I went in and the service writer said they still didn’t have a technician. I asked if they had a loaner or rental I could drive and was told no.  She was helpful calling Enterprise Rental for me.  On Monday afternoon I texted again and was told no technician still. On Tuesday same thing.  So I went back and picked up my truck still not repaired and a $300.00 fee I owed Enterprise rental. I asked to talk to the Service Manager and was told he wasn’t available, but they would have him call me.  It’s been 2 days now and still no call.  I found out that they have a new Service Manager that doesn’t have a clue what’s he’s doing.  I thought okay now I know what the problem is. I have never put a bad review in, but I’m trying to warn new customers…look out. I will never go to this dealership again.  And I was just talking to a sales representative about purchasing a new vehicle from them.  I’ll go somewhere else where the customer matters!
