Mercury's BigFoot configuration was designed for heavier applications such as pontoons, using lower gearing, a larger gearcase and a larger propeller to provide strong pushing power.  If you're comparing 50 HP motors, make sure you're comparing the BigFoot configuration.  FRESHWATER HISTORY — A BIG ADVANTAGE IN FLORIDA  This boat spent essentially its entire life in the freshwater lakes of Michigan before I brought it to Florida.  Since arriving in Florida, it has been in salt water only twice — approximately 3 hours total.  That's an unusually good saltwater history for a 2006 pontoon now located in Florida.  The boat has been used on a spring-fed canal system and has had very limited exposure to Florida salt water.  TANDEM-AXLE TRAILER INCLUDED  The tandem-axle trailer is included with the boat.  Having a trailer gives the new owner the ability to transport, store and move a 24' pontoonwithout having to arrange separate boat transportation.  WHAT'S INCLUDED  • 2006 Bentley 240 Cruise — 24'
