Description
I purchased this item (a key machine) on 7/13 from this individual on OfferUp and they claimed to have issues with OfferUp so I paid them through Venmo. I know, I shouldn’t have but seemed like purchasing issues were with offerup but now I realize he did that on purpose. He sent me copy of a UPS receipt and requested I go ahead and pay him for the key machine. The UPS receipt says it shipped and would arrive on the 7/17 but it never arrived. They had covered up the last 4 digits of tracking number on the receipt and then refused to give me the rest of the tracking numbers. At that point I chose to not send the rest of the money until the machine arrived (the first $300 was just half the purchase amount). Now they claim they know nothing about the first $300 (I had sent them $5, then $295 as Venmo was not letting it go through). They now claim they never received my $300, they still have the key machine (they supposedly shipped to me) and I just want my money back. This individual is a scammer. All the pics are his alias on here and in Venmo. If he returns my money then I’ll remove this post. He already denied my request for refund so he has my money and the key machine he says he shipped to be. Be aware! If he ripped you off too let me know. Thanks!
