Description

Beautiful large Black Forest German grandfather/floor clock with an exceptionally ornate carved wood case. Features barley-twist columns, carved angel/cherub details, floral carvings, brass-tone Roman numeral clock face, moon/astronomical dial, decorative pendulum, chains and weights. Marked “Made in the Black Forest.” This is a substantial statement piece with beautiful craftsmanship and detail. The wood appears to be in very nice cosmetic condition overall for its age. The dimensions are approximately 7 ft tall × 34 in wide × 17 in deep IMPORTANT: I have not tested the clock and do not know whether the clock/chime mechanism is currently working, so it is being sold as-is / untested. Please assume it may need servicing or adjustment. Very large and heavy. Local pickup only. **Buyer will need to bring appropriate help/equipment for moving it.** Open to reasonable offers!
