Description

Bud Browne's Surfing the 50's printed poster featuring Bill Ogden's tropical Waikiki beach artwork, with palm trees, longboards and Diamond Head in the distance. The Ogden name is printed within the artwork at lower right; no hand-signed signature is claimed. Includes the pictured poster, mat and black frame with hanging wire. Outside frame measures approximately 19 inches high x 16 1/4 inches wide. Full paper size is unverified. Pre-owned. Frame has visible scuffs, scratches and noticeable chips, especially at the top corners and along the edges. Mat shows light discoloration and marks. Rear paper dust cover has tears, punctures and creases. Artwork has not been removed from the frame, so concealed edges, reverse and mounting have not been examined. Please review all three photos. Exact printing date and edition are unverified. No claim is made that this is a 1950s printing or an original painting. $70 or best offer. Local pickup in Northridge.
