Vintage Antique Car A/C Air Conditioning Evaporator Blower Unit

Vintage automotive air-conditioning evaporator/blower assembly – $495 OBO Very unusual original vintage automotive A/C unit. Large metal evaporator/blower housing with original turquoise/green finish and great aged/patina appearance. I believe this is an early automotive air-conditioning evaporator/blower assembly, possibly from the 1950s era. Manufacturer and exact vehicle application have not yet been identified. This unit has been stored in covered storage for nearly 40 years. It was believed to be in working condition when it was removed/stored, but it has not been tested since and is being sold AS-IS. Because of its long storage period, I cannot guarantee that the blower motor, evaporator, controls, or other components are currently operational and it may require servicing before use. There is surface rust, chipped paint, and normal age-related wear/patina as shown in the photographs. This would be a great piece for someone restoring a vintage automobile, collecting early automotive A/C equipment, or looking for a period-correct component. $495 OBO – Local pickup preferred.
