Apple Macintosh SE/30 M5119 (1990) - For Parts or Repair I don't want to risk shipping it. It's important to me that vintage computers remain in tact, and I don't trust the carriers to handle it properly. The right person can do something with it, though. So, here's what I've been able to observe: - Powers on, but no chime. - You can hear the fan running and the hard drive trying to read. (The sound is coming from the left and the floppy disk drive is on the right.) - On a couple of attempts, the display showed a clear view of horizontal lines all the way down the screen. - There is a floppy disk in the 3.5 floppy disk drive, but I don't know what it is and connot eject it in this state. - It sat unused (out of the sun) as a display piece in a professional setting for the last couple of decades. - The exterior of the case is pretty clean; no sticker residue or scuffs. There is some slight yellowing, but overall it's in great-looking shape for it's age. - The power switch is super satisfying. My guess is it that needs to be recapped, but vintage computing is beyond my scope by about 8 years...so I've not opened it up, and I am unable to test it any further. If you want it, message me.
