Description
Stunning hand-painted Fitz and Floyd porcelain figurine from the Equestrian pattern, produced between 2000 and 2003. Fitz & Floyd equestrian artistry at its best: classic, traditional and characteristically detailed with a high-gloss glaze finish. The brown chestnut horse is poised, mid-step, with one front leg raised and mounted on a decorative black and green base. The horse has a glossy, reddish-brown coat, a braided mane, and a white blaze on its face. Its lower legs (socks) are white, and the hooves are black. The figurine stands approximately 9” high x 11” long. The horse stands on a rectangular, glossy black base that sits atop a larger, lower and highly-decorated pedestal base. The design features a band of green and yellow stylized leaf or acorn motifs, bordered by thin red lines. This pattern is discontinued and highly sought after by collectors Original owner, mint condition, never displayed. Originally bought as a gift, it’s been in a bin in the garage, packed in the original box with original packing materials. The box is lightly scuffed in a few spots.
