1941 GMC Classic Truck

Another find in the California desert. This was one of our first family projects. Garage kept at all times and in great running condition. Was one of our daily drivers for several years. Another one of a kind. I’ve taken it to many car shows throughout California and every Cars & Coffee in Southern California. Some basic minor rust (just surface), but nothing structural or concerning. We’ve left a lot of the original parts as is given we like it’s history. Bed of the truck as the most rust through but we clearl coated it to preserve it and have it keeps its 80yr old look (plus we don’t like the shine wood bed look that most upgrade to). Records kept for all services and upgrades. 1972 350 small block (odometer does not work so unsure of mileage but we put about 6,000 a year on it). We found it with the 350. In-line six was removed by prior owner. 3 speed auto trans, new radiator, water pump, starter, duel coolant fans, new trans cooler, new distributor, power breaks (front disc and rear drum), new suspension (although it’s stiff), etc. Runs at about 180-190, stays cool. Drives the freeway at 60-65 strong. The 3 speed trans is the only thing holding it back from more speed/power but we don’t more. We’ve driven it up to Malibu and down to San Diego on freeway no problem.
