1989 Steiff Jumbo Elephant Button Label Tag 1305/09 West German + Box

According to the round paper tag around his neck, this little guy’s name is “ Jumbo.” He measures approximately 4 1/2” high and 3 1/2” wide. The paper tag attached to the elephant’s foot indicates, “Genuine mohair” with the number 1305/09. His yellow and red ear tag reads, “Steiff Knopf Im Ohr, 1305/09.All new material, PA55, Mass 73. Covering 50% wool 50% cotton.” Jumbo the Elephant is in excellent condition. No issues whatsoever. No odor, stains or fading. The box, however, shows signs of wear - especially on the front.
