Description

Artist: Metallica Album: Ride the Lightning Label: Elektra / Megaforce Records Catalog Number: 60396-1 Year: 1984 (Original US Pressing) Up for sale is a highly collectible, genuine 1984 vintage early US pressing of Metallica's legendary sophomore album, Ride the Lightning. This features the classic red-and-black Elektra center labels and the original 60396-1 catalog number. This is a true 1980s analog pressing, NOT a modern digital reissue. Condition Breakdown: • Vinyl Disc (Very Nice Condition): The record retains a beautiful, bright glossy sheen. Visually it shows only minimal superficial paper scuffs or light dust spots under direct light. It plays well and sounds fantastic. Excellent player copy. • Inner Sleeve (Pristine): The original black-and-yellow lyric sheet insert is beautifully preserved with crisp text and no major tears. • Outer Jacket (Some Marks / Wear): Shows honest vintage wear consistent with its age. There is edge rubbing, chipping along the opening seam, and some soft or slightly split corners. Spine text remains visible.
