Antique Victorian Cast Iron Bistro Set – Round Garden Table With Two Matching Chairs Similar sets selling north of $2000 Description An exceptionally charming and substantial cast iron bistro set featuring an intricately detailed round table and two matching chairs, richly adorned with scrolling foliate motifs and classical Victorian-inspired ornamentation. Finished in a deep glossy black, the set offers both dramatic presence and timeless elegance—perfect for a garden terrace, brownstone balcony, or courtyard patio. The table showcases a beautifully pierced top with an elaborate radial pattern, allowing rainwater to pass through while creating a delicate lace-like shadow play in sunlight. A lower circular shelf adds visual interest and practical utility, ideal for displaying plants or storing small accessories. The two matching chairs feature ornate openwork backs with sweeping botanical forms, sculptural cabriole legs, and finely cast detailing throughout. Their graceful silhouettes balance decorative artistry with sturdy construction, providing both comfort and durability for outdoor use. Crafted from heavy cast iron, this set has a wonderful weight and permanence that resists wind and weather while developing an attractive patina over time. The glossy black finish enhances the depth of the cast detailing and pairs effortlessly with traditional, Victorian, French garden, or eclectic outdoor spaces.
