Description

This antique plaque was used before there was paid firemen when there was volunteer firemen. The insurance companies would place these plaque’s on buildings they insured and if there was a fire and the volunteer firemen saved the building the insurance companies would give them a reward. This plaque is original made out of cast iron, whereas reproductions are made from aluminum.
