Description

Selling a fully-functional TRS-80 Model III. Power supply has been recapped and a switching power supply has been installed for the floppy controller and the drives. Has 48K of RAM and a fully functional 5-1/4" drive connected to a Percom controller and tower--this config allows the entire drive tower to be separated as a unit for easy maintenance (see photos). The second drive bay is empty-I have a pair of additional drives and HxC 2001 floppy emulator that will come with it--I was never able to get them to work as desired, but maybe you'll have better luck than I did. Finally, a FreHD boot ROM is installed and works great if you attach a FreHD (note that FreHD is *not* included) Willing to trade for other vintage computer gear, would especially love to pick up a functional CoCo 2 or 3. Feel free to ask--worst that can happen is that I say no. Strongly prefer an in-person deal. Proper shipping for this is somewhere on the order of $75.
