Original vintage Chic electric hair dryer by Morris Struhl, Inc., dating approximately to the 1950s. Early mid-century handheld design featuring a heavy painted metal housing in muted green, solid wood adjustable handle/stand, vented motor housing, rectangular outlet and dual toggle controls. Original Chic Hair Dryer decal remains visible. The naturally aged finish shows authentic paint loss, surface oxidation, scratches and wear consistent with decades of use, giving the piece excellent industrial character. Wood handle retains an attractive aged finish. Electrical cord and plug are present.
