This is a starter habitat that is well-suited for a variety of pet reptiles, including hatchlings and young tortoises. Regular cleaning and maintaining a dry enclosure are key to preventing health issues. This habitat was previously used for a baby Sulcata tortoise during his first three years of life. Now that he has grown, we have transitioned him to a larger enclosure to accommodate his needs. * For those considering this habitat, I recommend applying a weather seal to ensure durability, although it's been functioning perfectly without one. * Included with the habitat is tortoise food, ensuring you have everything you need to get started immediately. * Additionally, I have a UVB light with a stand that I can include if you're interested. This is essential for providing necessary UV exposure that supports the health and well-being of reptiles, especially tortoises.
