Description
Selling my Fender American Standard Stratocaster. It's USA made, built in Corona, California (it's stamped right on the neck plate). This is the HSS Shawbucker version, which is a little different from a standard Strat. It's got a humbucker in the bridge designed by Tim Shaw, the same guy behind a lot of Fender's classic pickup work, so you get a fuller, punchier tone out of the bridge pickup while still keeping that classic single coil Strat sound in the neck and middle. Good option if you play a mix of styles and don't want to be locked into one tone. It's a 3 Color Sunburst with a maple neck and fretboard and an alder body. Plays smooth, sounds great, no issues. I've taken good care of it. Comes with a hardshell case. It's not the original Fender case but it fits well and does the job. Honestly I just don't play it really, so it's time for it to go to someone who'll actually use it. Happy to answer questions or send more pics or a video of it being played.
