1998 Buick Park Avenue

**Could this be the inexpensive, comfortable daily driver you've been looking for?** I'm selling my 1998 Buick Park Avenue with 205,429 miles. It's an older car, so I'm going to be upfront about both what it does well and what it needs rather than pretend it's something it isn't. ### What it has going for it: • Clean title • 3.8L V6 • Leather interior • Very clean overall interior for its age • Leather has some wear, but **no rips or tears in the seats** • Good tires • **2 additional newer tires included** • New battery • Cold A/C • Smooth transmission • Power windows, locks and seats work • Radio works • No major dents • Currently starts, idles and drives normally • No overheating • No coolant leaks • No current check-engine light ### Things you should know: • Fuel gauge is inaccurate and moves around. • Heater does not work, but the A/C blows cold. • Coolant warning comes on even though the coolant level is full. There are no coolant leaks or overheating issues. • There is some paint chipping in a few areas. • The vehicle previously experienced an intermittent stall while driving at normal speeds. It would restart afterward, but the cause was never formally diagnosed. • A recent diagnostic scan showed **P0336 — crankshaft position sensor/circuit range-performance**. I have not had that issue further diagnosed or repaired, so I'm disclosing it for the buyer to make their own decision. • The car had been sitting for a while, so it needed a jump when recently started. It has a new battery. After getting it started, I drove it around and it ran normally. **I'm not going to tell you this is a perfect 28-year-old car — it isn't.** It has 205K miles and some known issues, which is reflected in the price. At the same time, it's a clean-title Park Avenue with a very well-kept interior, good tires, cold A/C, smooth transmission, and it currently runs and drives. I'd rather be completely upfront about the car so the person who buys it knows exactly what they're getting. **$2,500 OBO** I'm open to reasonable offers **after you've seen the car**.
