Description

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of mid-century toy history. This vintage Japanese tin plate friction toy jet plane features classic, vibrant lithograph graphics with "NAVY" military markings, modeled after iconic Cold War-era fighter aircraft. What makes this piece exceptionally rare is its incredible state of preservation. It is completely original, unplayed with, and remains factory-sealed plastic bag with the original cardboard header. The header features charming mid-century illustrations of vintage vehicles, the "Japan" origin mark, and the original "29¢" retail price stamp. The internal mechanism is untested to preserve mint, sealed packaging. The header card remains straight, fully attached and features clean typography on front but the back side of the top label is torn.
