This is a true statement set for a tiki lounge, sunroom, enclosed porch, or retro living space. Unlike modern reproductions, this is heavy-duty, thick-pole genuine bent rattan wrapped with solid rawhide structural bindings. This set features the highly sought-after, harder-to-find 4-seater extra-long sofa version accompanied by two matching lounge chairs. Condition Details: • Frames (See Photos): As shown in the photos with the cushions removed, the underlying support slats are completely intact, solid, and not snapped or sagging. The signature stacked pretzel loop arms (6-strand outer, 4-strand inner) are structurally rock-solid with tight rawhide bindings and a beautiful natural vintage patina. • Cushions: Included. These are heavy, high-quality vintage cushions with excellent structural support. Visually they present okay from a distance with their original textured damask fabric, but the covers are in desperate need of repair. They have noticeable staining and the zippers do not close. They are ideal templates for a reupholstery project. • Potential: This set has incredible bones and just needs a little reinvigoration (a fresh marine-grade clear coat varnish on the wood and new fabric covers) to easily look like a multi-thousand-dollar showroom set.
