KitchenAid KDTM404KPS0 — Stainless Steel, 3 Racks Great project for an appliance repair technician or experienced DIYer. This is a premium KitchenAid dishwasher that powers on and completes the wash cycle normally, but near the end of the cycle it stops and starts beeping, leaving water in the bottom when it should transition to the final drain/drying stage. Important detail: When Cancel/Drain is selected manually, it drains immediately and very well. So the dishwasher is not completely dead and the drain function does work. It also developed some unusual operating noise several months before the current problem appeared.
