Description

These are substantial, decorator-grade lighting pieces with a distinct Hollywood-regency-meets-rustic-Spanish flair created by the famous Bruce Eicher of Los Angeles. They measure approx 24"x16"x6" and weigh about 20lbs ea. A few panes of the glass need to be added, otherwise in excellent shape. Local Pick-up only. Design & Aesthetic Style: Spanish Colonial / Mediterranean Revival. The heavy scrollwork at the top, arched glass panels, and rusted iron finish are classic hallmarks of this style. Structure: Each fixture features a three-light "candelabra" cluster inside an open iron frame with arched glass panes. The one on the left clearly shows a mirrored back panel, designed to reflect the light forward and give the illusion of a deeper, fully enclosed lantern. Finish: They feature a heavy, textured faux-rust or oxidized iron patina, which was a signature look for Bruce Eicher. It gives the pieces an intentionally aged, antique architectural salvage appearance. Manufacturer Label: "BRUCE EICHER, INC. / SUBSCRIBER NO. 59586" confirms the designer and provenance. UL Label: The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) sticker marks it as a listed "INCANDESCENT FIXTURE" with "ISSUE NO. 100,598". Note on Age: The specific style, typography, and layout of these paper UL and subscriber labels strongly point to a production date between the 1970s and 1980s.
