Gears not damaged. Direction of the ring goes clockwise. I STRONGLY recommend using the spacer/washer/shims/bearing from your stock diff. Some MAY come with SHIMS some will NOT. WILL FIT S13/14/R32 differentials WILL NOT FIT 350z WILL NOT FIT ABS (sensor) DIFFERENTIALS IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIMENT WITH OTHER R200 diffs that’s on you.
