I had a really great experience at JD Auto. Lexi, our car lady, was great. Friendly, welcoming & patient. I noticed the majority of the cars here are very fairly priced, low miles in respect to the car's year & in good shape. The only 2 negatives were our car wasn't cleaned (cup holders, arm rests etc are gross) & the check engine light came on the next morning after I bought our car.

I recently bought a Hyundai Elantra from JD AUTO PDX LLC in the Portland area, and it was a game-changer for me. I paid $3500 total, and the car has been running smoothly ever since--great gas mileage and no major issues so far.
Before finding them, I got turned down by a couple of other dealerships around Portland/Gladstone. One cited my credit situation, and another said they couldn't work with my financing needs. It was really discouraging--I needed reliable wheels to get to work and handle daily life, and it felt like doors were slamming shut.

My sister and I drove 2 hours to see a Nissan Sentra that was listed as never being in an accident. When I inspected the car, there was glass in the back from a smashed rear windshield. Even though they stated that the car had just gone in for repairs that same day, the check engine light was also on.
They claimed the second car we looked at had also never been in an accident. The gentleman brought us the car to test drive, leaving the car on. I realized he did this to keep us from seeing the collision notification on startup.
Overall, they lied about both cars and tried to trick us into thinking both cars were never in accidents, listing false information online as well as in person. Highly recommend you avoid this place.

Talked to the guy for days setting a deal on a new work truck turns out he sold it without even letting me know even though we communicated and worked out a day to come up. Would have been nice to know the only reason we didn't waste our trip in Portland for nothing was because I've called and asked about the car about a day before even going up. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate it would have been nice to let me know he does NOT communicate whatsoever WASTE OF TIME better of going to a different dealership.

Honestly this entire experience was a waste of my time. We knew exactly what vehicle we wanted and all we needed to do was park, read the codes with an OBD and take the vehicle home. We both have a 700+ credit score and I make over 178k a year and had cash as an option as well. We came from UTAH with three place picked out. As soon as we arrived a gentleman saw us parking(there were no signs or designated parking), he didn’t say anything. We parked behind a set of other vehicles but in a way that I could grab my son’s wheelchair. Anything gentleman came out the office and said “you need to move”. I was immediately taken back as no direction on where was made. I said “we already know what vehicle we wanted but we can go”. The gentleman said “thats fine”. So we started getting back in the vehicle and another gentleman (pictured below) said “well, you shouldn’t have parked there”. I responded well I needed a spit that was big enough for handicap parking. He laughed and said “are you serious”. I said “yes” as I LEFT MY TERMINALLY ILL SON BACK INTO THE VEHICLE. He said “you could have backed behind the truck”. This would have blocked the hatch of my vehicle to remove my 9 year old wheelchair. I said “that won’t work for us, we are just going”. He then called me a jack ass. We left and went to another dealership where we were greeted warmly. They even put a movie on for my son while we paid in cash for our vehicle. Honestly parking in of itself was a nightmare as they even had vehicles parked on curbs. They could have just told us we would need to move if needed for business and we would have. However, the disgusting behavior and aggressiveness was unacceptable and just gross.
