Maytag MBFF2258FEZ00 Refrigerator – $300 OBO – Repair Project

Selling our Maytag refrigerator, approximately 10 years old. It is being sold AS-IS as a repair project and is currently not cooling properly. Spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting the issue and eventually had an appliance technician inspect it. He replaced the main control board, but that did not resolve the problem. The evaporator fan is the suspected issue based on the symptoms, and I purchased a replacement fan motor to install. Unfortunately, the part I was shipped turned out to be the wrong one, so the repair has not been completed. Important: Please purchase with the understanding that the refrigerator compartment is currently non-functional and the appliance is being sold as-is. I am not guaranteeing that the evaporator fan is the only issue or that replacing it will resolve the problem. Condition: -Pristinely cleaned -No dents -A few cosmetic scratches from the kids' magnets over the years -One of the toggles on a crisper drawer broke off, but the humidity level can still be adjusted using what remains of the toggle with the drawer open -Otherwise, the refrigerator has been well cared for and was a good, reliable appliance before this issue It is a nice opportunity for someone who repairs appliances, wants a project, or needs parts. Ice maker has not been re-installed once it was realized the evap fan motor could not be replaced due to being sent the wrong fan motor. $300 OBO Pickup in Redmond (98052) There is one flight of stairs from the refrigerator's current location. Recommend removing the doors and drawers to make the refrigerator lighter and easier to move. Buyer is responsible for removal and transportation.
