Description
This Maxima has been in the family since brand new and has been a reliable car throughout our ownership. Overall, it's in very good condition for its age. Like most 23-year-olds, it has a few bumps and bruises, but it's still got plenty of life left in it THE GOOD - Only 83,500 original miles - In the family since brand new. My brother purchased this car new in 2003, and I later bought it from him. No mystery ownership history here - Originally a New Jersey car, later relocated to Arizona. - Runs and drives extremely well! Engine and transmission perform great. Burns NO oil - 3.5L V6 engine with plenty of power. - Titanium Edition with power everything. - ICE-COLD A/C. If you live in Arizona, you know this isn't a luxury, it's a survival requirement - Good tires. - Good battery. - Has been a reliable car throughout our ownership. - Overall very good condition for its age. PERFORMANCE UPGRADES My brother originally built this Maxima with a little extra performance in mind. While the engine itself hasn't been modified internally, he made a few upgrades: - Performance headers connected to a high-flow exhaust system. I have the full original exhaust as well - Great exhaust note. Has a nice, deep, throaty sound without pretending to be something it's not. - Transmission shift kit that produces noticeably firmer, harder shifts. This is intentional and part of the performance setup Fair warning: If you're looking for a whisper-quiet luxury sedan with buttery-smooth shifts, this probably isn't your Maxima. But if you appreciate a V6 with some attitude, you'll enjoy driving it. THE BAD - A few bumps and bruises. It's 23 years old, not fresh off the showroom floor. I've included pictures of the cosmetic imperfections so there are no surprises. - Power steering fluid leak. My unofficial, shade-tree mechanic diagnosis points to the power steering line running from the reservoir to the pump. Easy and inexpensive fix THE TITLE & PAPERWORK - Clean Arizona title - The vehicle has an electronic title (eTitle) through Arizona MVD Now. No paper title in hand. - Ownership will be transferred electronically through AZ MVD Now at the time of sale. - Buyer should bring a smartphone or laptop and be prepared to sign in to their own AZ MVD Now account. We'll complete the transfer together using our separate devices. THE BOTTOM LINE This is a solid, low-mileage Maxima that's been in the same family since new. It runs great, the A/C blows ice cold, and it has a few cosmetic imperfections and a power steering leak that I've been upfront about. I'm not selling a brand new car disguised as a 2003. I'm selling a good, reliable car with an honest description and a little extra performance thrown in Asking $3,200 OBO Serious inquiries welcome If the ad is up, it is available Cross roads are Deer Valley and 83rd Ave
