Description

Selling a 15-inch 2011 MacBook Pro (Model 8,2) for parts or repair. The laptop currently will not boot past a black screen and is malfunctioning due to the well-known 2011 AMD dedicated graphics card failure. It turns on and the screen lights up, but it gets stuck in a boot loop right after the white startup screen. It is being sold completely AS-IS for someone who wants a project laptop to bypass the GPU, or for a repair shop that needs donor parts. The aluminum body, keyboard, and display assembly are all in good cosmetic shape. Specs: Processor: Intel Core i7-2635QM Memory: 8 GB RAM Storage: 500 GB Hard Drive OS Installed: Ubuntu Linux 24.04 LTS (Currently unbootable due to hardware failure) Charger: Yes
