1988 USS New Jersey BB-62 Battleship Cruise Book Big Thunder Down Under

Vintage US Navy Cruise Book for the USS New Jersey BB-62 - Big Thunder Down Under from 1988. This hard cover book measures 9 1/4" X 12 1/4". This is like a year book for the ship and crew during the 'Aussie Trek' deployment in 1988. Book has 288 pages. It looks like some of the pages got wet at some point. None of the pictures are damaged and the pages are not stuck together at all but there is a circle of rippling. It is worst on the table of contents page - see picture 9. You don't really notice it unless it is a white page near the very front or back but I want to be completely accurate in the description. Big Thunder Down Under USS New Jersey BB-62 1988 Cruise Book documents the historic deployment of the Iowa-class battleship to Australia. This hardcover volume features vibrant full-color photography of the ship, its crew, and various ports of call, including striking images of the main battery firing and dockside operations. The cover showcases a unique illustrated map of Australia with the battleship centered, preserving a significant piece of naval history from the late Cold War era.
