This is an authentic early-American composition baby doll manufactured by the famous E.I. Horsman Doll Company in the mid-1920s.Markings:The back of the neck features the crisp, raised historic "E.I.H. Co. INC." manufacturer stamp.Features & Construction:Head & Expression: Features a classic, sweet "Baby Dimples" face mold with deep cheek dimples, molded upper teeth, and a molded tongue inside an open smiling mouth. It has finely sculpted, painted hairwaves.Eyes: Tin/glass sleep eyes that function smoothly when the doll is tilted.Body: Original stuffed muslin cloth torso with chunky, jointed composition limbs designed to mimic infant rolls.
