This is a vintage Daiwa Minicast fishing rod and reel combo set in a black plastic carrying case. The Daiwa Minicast is an ultralight travel fishing system featuring a multi-piece rod and an easy-casting spincast reel, all housed in a compact hard carrying case. The case case includes built-in tackle compartments for flies, hooks and small lures. This portable kit is designed for spontaneous fishing trips, backpacking, or keeping under a car seat. The reel and rod are in very good condition. The rod breaks down into five sections to fit entirely within the small case. The case does have one broken snap lock on the side.
