2008 Lexus GX 470

2008 Lexus GX470 – 147,500 Miles Selling my 2008 Lexus GX470 with 147,500 miles. It’s in great condition for its age, especially considering its life in the Northeast. Features include heated/power/memory seats, full-time 4WD, working center-locking differential, sunroof, navigation, Mark Levinson sound system, 3rd row, front/rear climate control, CD/cassette/AUX, Bluetooth calling, tilting mirrors, auto-dimming mirror, factory emergency kit, full-size spare, and 5 new all-terrain tires. When I purchased it, I wanted to get it mechanically sorted and as close to a clean slate as possible before making modifications. I put a lot of effort into addressing common wear items. The CV axles, inner/outer tie rods, rack & pinion, steering column, power steering pump, hoses and various bushings were replaced. Most of the frame was welded, rust-treated, primed and painted with rust-inhibiting products. One small rear section remains unfinished. The water pump was replaced around 125k by the previous owner. I replaced the drive pulley, alternator, starter, radiator and belts. It has taken multiple trips to North Carolina and Virginia and has been an excellent road-trip vehicle. My new job provides a work vehicle, so the GX now sits unused. One of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned. I’d rather see someone else enjoy it.
